Eli is totally chilled out! He was enjoying the shade and his chicken nuggets. Our Youth Pastor calls this chicken the "Christian Chicken". It's from Chic
fil a. Our favorite!! Eli had his face painted and played football with Philip some before we headed to the game. Eli and I left after the half time "crowning of the homecoming queen". He had plenty of fun and was ready for bed.
Shelby had a good time with her friends. They wandered around looking at other tailgaters. I think they were looking for food. I'm not sure Shelby or her friends knew there was a football game going on. They didn't stay in one place for very long and had to ask if we won at the end. They had a lot of fun though. I guess when you are in middle school, a football game is all a big social event.
Brice and his friends had a fun friendly football game of their own before we went to the high school game. He said he was sore after this game. I think he was enjoying being off from soccer this weekend. He invited several of his soccer buddies to come to the tailgate party. We had plenty of food and sat around and talked for awhile. The football game was really bad. I think the score was 21-3. I thought you were suppose to play someone at your homecoming game that you can beat easily. Eli said, "mom, I feel sad for the Jaguars!" I told him I think the word was
embarrassed!
